About Me

I have trained as a Musician and play the Trombone and Guitar and a little bit of Piano.I have studied at the Centre for Young Musicians in London and at Colchester Institute in Essex.I have played in many Orchestras and Bands in London, Surrey, Suffolk and Essex during the past few years...styles include; funk, classical, jazz and pop. I also dep on trombone for the Incredibly Strange Film Band and at different times have played guitar and trombone for the 'In Concert' series in Martlesham Heath, Suffolk.In the past I have also been on Orchestral tours to Barcelona, Prague and Northern Italy.I am also very interested in complementary therapy and have studied Reiki to 1st & 2nd Level degree. As from March this year (2007), I have been studying Reiki to Master level.I am also a keen amateur photographer and have included some examples of my photos on this page...there are many more I would like to feature but there isn't room!...I also have a fascination with the world of horror films so I wouldn't blame anyone who thought me a little eccentric!...

Music:

Love Morrissey, The Smiths, A-ha, The Police (especially their track 'Synchronicity II'), also like the music of Kristeen Young, Goldfrapp, Hearts of Black Science, Royksopp, Daft Punk, John Martyn, Portishead, Green Day, Gay Dad, REM, Alice Cooper, Lynne Collins, Dixie Chicks, Neil Young, U2, Jamiroquai, Jack Johnson, Curtis Mayfield, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Turin Brakes,Richard Thompson, The Prodigy, Madonna, The Doors, The Beatles, The Kinks. Other styles I enjoy listening to are various rock & roll, jazz, funk,classical and folk music ...the list goes on!

Movies:

Love Italian horror's such as Dario Argento's 'Suspiria,' 'Tenebrae' and 'Profoundo Rosso' ('Deep Red'), love most horrors in general really!Also enjoy Lamberto Bava's films......and do enjoy old classic black & white films such as 'Brief Encounter' and Hitchcock films such as 'Rebecca,' 'Strangers on a Train' and 70s classics like 'Magnum Force' 'Dirty Harry' and 'The taking of Pelham 1-2-3.' I have also enjoyed watching 'Midnight Express' many times...another old classic is 'The Red shoes'...

Television:

'Friends,' 'Scrubs,' 'Sex in the City,' 'Only Fools & Horses ,' 'Eastenders,' 'Casualty,' 'Holby City,' 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' 'Rockford,' 'Columbo,' 'Family Guy,' 'Little Britain' and 'Peep Show.' Also love old comedy classics like Rising Damp, Fawlty Towers and The Good life but also enjoy watching documentary programmes such as Equinox, Panorama and Dispatches. Like nature programmes too especially those featuring penguins!

Books:

Any thrillers, horrors, comedies e.g. like 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night and anything by Paulo Coelho or Richard Laymon.

Heroes:

Dario Argento for making such great horrors! ...but there are many more! Also admire the past works of Vincent Price...
