Band Members: The Mark Austin Band consists of Mark Austin on bass and vocals, Scott Weltner on drums, Larry Spencer on trumpet, Keith Adkins on trombone, Lee Schloss on sax, Lewis Hutcheson on guitar and vocals, and Daniel Cisneros on percussion.
Mark Austin – bass, vocals, bandleader: recipient of Buddy Magazine’s “Texas Tornado” award. Mark has played with or opened for such acts as Jerry LaCroix, Delbert McClinton, Ronnie Milsap, Marie Osmond, and The Oak Ridge Boys.
Scott Weltner – drums: credits include Patti Labelle, Philip Bailey, Gloria Estefan, Larry Carlton, Grover Washington, Jr., Teena Marie, Chuck Rainey, Robby Kreiger, Buddy Miles, and Cinderella.
Larry Spencer – trumpet and horn section leader: credits include Buddy Rich Big Band, Woody Herman Orchestra, Henry Mancini, Nelson Riddle, Andy Williams, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Torme, Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Reba McIntyre, and Frank Sinatra.
