I am a man who, sauntering along without fully stopping, turns a casual look upon you and then averts his face,
Leaving it to you to prove and define it, expecting the main things from you.
A man saw me pursuing the horizon;
Round and round I sped.
He was disturbed at this;
So he accosted me.
"It is futile," he said,
"You can never — "
"You lie," I cried,
And ran on.
My name is Vince, and I'm a gentleman from sole to crown,
Clean favored, and imperially slim.
I believe there's a very thin line between reality and imagination.
I'm open minded, and I think get a lot more out of everyday little things than most other people do.
I am a ridiculous man. They call me a madman now. That would be a distinct rise in my social position were it not that they still regard me as being as ridiculous as ever.
I'm a cat person.
I eat a lot.
And I sleep a lot.
And I dream a lot.
(Each more important than the last)
Every morning upon awakening,
I experience a rare and exquisite joy:
That of being Vincent James Alia!
And I ask myself,
Wonder-struck and in rapture,
What wonderful and prodigious thing
Am I going to accomplish today?
I'm a child at heart,
Not 18 years of age-
But 8 years old with TEN years experience! :-P
I used to be 5'2 and 90 pounds
With big glasses and an even bigger passion for insects.
I got bullied every day for that in my freshman year of high school,
So that summer I had to put down my Bible
And pick up a fitness magazine,
Let go of the glasses, and grabbed on to a chin-up bar
And I became the living hybrid
Of Bruce Lee and Vin Diesel overnight.
Now I'm 135 pounds of twisted steel and sex appeal, baby! :-D lol jk

I love God, I love myself, and I love others.
I love a good laugh
And the wonderful feeling
I get from my fantastic friends!

I'm constantly changing.
I am many.
I contain multitudes.
To label me is to negate me.
In public, I’m a naive, eccentric oddball,
but in private, I'm really a serious, somber and cerebral thinker.
Among those whom I like or admire, I can find no common denominator, but among those whom I love, I can: all of them make me laugh.
I try to be the change I want to see in the world.
All of the people I have met so far in life have shown me that only the example of great and pure character can produce fine ideas and noble deeds.

Indeed... Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see the beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they lead...
I’m accident prone, a little vague, a little discombobulated, with a life that possesses all the security of a drop of water strung on a spider’s filament of web. But this can be said of Vince Alia: without him, without his warmth, without his kindness, the world would be a considerably poorer place, albeit perhaps a little saner. Should it not be obvious by now, I am a fixture in my own private, optimistic, hopeful little world.

Indeed... An affectionate woman is both my Heaven and my weakness....
Self-centeredness is a huge turn off for me.
So is ignorance.
Attention whores sicken me.
I hate it when people think of love like they think of food: something to be consumed, forgotten, then replaced by a new dish.
I just want to find a cool, open-minded, person I can hang out with, and be there for.
Someone to take care of and make happy.
Someone to waste time with. lol
A total weirdo who will waltz with me around the room when there's not even any music playing.
Someone who would APPRECIATE ME.
While I believe Love to be the most important thing, and trust an essential element indeed, all I really want out of any relationship, be it with someone special or just a friend, is companionship. Life can be one hell of a journey, and I’d like someone to accompany me on all my adventures. Someone who will sing and dance with me when things are going well, and someone to lean on when things are not.
I need someone to cheer me on as I pursue the horizon!
*sighs* I may be schizophrenic, but I'll always have each other...
