About Me

In 2001 7 Angels 7 Plagues released their first record Jhazmyneâ€™s Lullaby along with a bold statement that this (then new and unheard of) band was going to redefine the standards of their genreâ€¦ Within a yearâ€™s time, they indeed had become one of the premier bands of their genre - with rave reviews in the underground and mainstream press, interest from major labels, and a diehard fan base built from an aggressive touring schedule and incredibly moving live performance. Then as they were set to record new material and head out on a nationwide tour, came a sudden and very unexpected break-up.
Within hours of them breaking the news, they were hit with an onslaught of emails from shocked fans (continuing to this day) wondering why a band in their prime would call it quits, and trying to track down any other music, or merchandise from them that they could get their hands on.
Similar disapointment in the break-up and continued interest in the bandâ€™s music has been widespread in the print and online media, with the band being voted (in a Lambgoat.com poll) as the band breakup to have most affected fans in 2002.
With the core song writing nucleus of the group yet to from any new band or bands, and fans desperate to hear just one more thing from them, the band and Uprising decided to re-release the bands first record (that got them signed to Uprising) now re-mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side, and with new artwork by Martin Defatte in the Bluenote style to match their full length record Jhazmyneâ€™s Lullaby (producing a nice two album set for the collectors).

Reunion Shows

It's official, 7 Angels 7 Plagues will be doing a few reunion shows sometime this year in December in Milwaukee Wisconsin and another unknown location. Stay tuned for details.
