Intelligence, Beauty, Charm, Finesse. From this foundation a voice emerges; a voice with the strength of an army and the melody of a lullaby; a voice possessing soulful bliss and a sound rare to many ears; the voice of Chyna-Nicole " When I was about two years old, my mother says I use to pull the curtain string, pretend it was a microphone and start singing imitating TV celebrities." Born in New York City of proud Jamaican parents, Chyna-Nicole read the back of Michael Jackson's album covers at the tender age of 5 and begun her song-writing techniques. Very active in elementary school, she along with her dance crew appeared on a local television station at the University of Bridgeport. In high school, Chyna-Nicole was captain of the Kolbe Cathedral Drill Team where she choreographed dance routines. She also performed as a singer in various talent shows. During her tenure at Howard University as a Radio/TV/Film student, she began to record R&B demos. With aspirations of becoming an Artist, Chyna-Nicole registered numerous songs with the Library of Congress. One day her dream would manifest. Upon graduation, she'd worked in various media arenas as her professional degree allowed. However, she was neither satisfied nor happy. Her musical sense kept pulling her toward the industry. After much thought, she tossed the corporate world to the side and on December 31, 2001, Chyna-Nicole re-located to Kingston, Jamaica in lieu of recording an album with her father, Carl Williams (a local producer). (Previously, she had recorded "Love Me Tenderly" under Carl Williams' production, Little C Records, in 1994 with one of his protégés, Lukie D. This was her first single. Although there was little promotion of the song, this experience confirmed her talents as a Reggae Artist.) Although the album in 2001 did not materialize, Chyna-Nicole remained in Jamaica, under her brother's (Fitzroy Williams) influence. She obtained the role of a disc jockey at Zip103 FM and Irie FM (the best experience ever), and recorded singles for producers. "Reggae can only be felt truly through the vibrations of living in Jamaica!" Since then, Chyna Nicole was welcomed by Micheal Sterling and David Warren, Chakka and Squeeze of 93.5 R5 Radio as a Radio Host in New York City. She has also toured as a back up vocalist for Reggae Veteran Mikey Spice. Chyna Nicole is under managent with Powermix Records Entertainment Group Inc., and is currently working on her Reggae/R&B album. Chris Thomas is the force behind this project. Feel her strength, stories, imagination, and incredible talent through her music!
