I am a full time artist and teacher, and I am interested in meeting anyone who is interested in the arts. My pieces are fine art quilts, and are composed entirely of pieces of fabric. They are also on tour in the national exhibit curated by Carolyn Mazloomi titled ,Textural Rhythms .Textural Rhythms will open February 9, 2007 at the King Arts Complex in Columbus, OH, 2007. Museum of Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, New York State Museum, Albany, NY, Reginald Lewis Museum, Baltimore, MD, California African American Museum, Los Angeles, and the Naples Art Museum, Naples, FL. Several more bookings are under consideration, including the following: Anacostia Museum of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC; Fuller Museum, Brockton, MA; Newark Museum of Art, Newark, NJ; the Studio Museum of Harlem; and University of Virginia Museum, Charlottesville, VA.
