[Joseph Epstein]This is my favorite series ever. One of the characters was just like my dad and he used to watch the episodes with me so Anne of the Green Gables warms my heart for several reasons. There is nothing that compares to it. Period. For those who know portuguese and would like to see it, let me know and I'll send you the series... :) ***************************** I'm a bookworm. Or at least I used to be, right now I take ages to read a book because I am always working or taking care of the house or just sleeping. I discovered recently that sleeping is the ultimate luxury in the world...well, maybe doing anything at one of those Bora Bora resorts might be better...I'm not sure yet... **************************** I love writing letters. Yes, exactly, letters, the old fashioned type of correspondence...but I don't have the time I used to so I use e-mails as a last resort. But I refuse to write group e-mails like some of my friends do...I try to be as personal as one can be in the Internet. **************************** I don't have a bikini photo in my album here. But believe me, if I had a great body I would parade naked and would flaunt it everyday so I cannot criticize girls who post photos with not much clothing on... ******************************** I can speak and write 4 languages and understand bits of other languages so by the time I'm 80 I'll be the perfect Berlitz wannabe...The languages I know are Portuguese, English, French and Spanish. Italian is the other language I want to learn because I want to understand everything my friends say, not just the bits when they are speaking slowly... ************************************* I won't discuss with anyone about politics or religion or sports...Those are personal choices or a reflection of family background or several other influences or experiences and going in there might be hurtful even if not done with a bad intention. **************************************** Almost everyone in my list of friends are the type of people others only dream of getting to know so I count my blessings everyday for having so many special people in my life. They fill up my heart in so many ways I am always afraid I'm not able to love back as much as they deserve. **************************** I have 2 sisters and a brother I would die for. Carla, my big sister, Sonia, my little sister and my one and only brother Paulo which is one of the coolest and generous people I know. Carla is laid back and relaxed and funny and always backs me up no matter what. Sonia is stressed and talented and at times a real dragon and always backs me up no matter what. Then I have sisters at heart... Pipinha. Linda. Christina, Ines...And Irune, who is my fairy. And when I have the time, I'll keep on writing about everyone in my list...until then, those I didn't mention yet and are on my list, please know I love you a lot!!!! ;)
