Music mostly. All the other stuff I can at very least feign interest in for at least an hour or two.
People that don't like to talk on the phone.
The Beatles, T Rex, Wings, The Misfits (they're pop songs!), NY Dolls, Heartbreakers, Ramones, Pistols, The Martinets, Neil Young, The Jam and once I say those, the zillion other bands you know I like..Alex Chilton and Big Star -but not as much as some people who would say Big Star, Bowie, Brill Building Gems by various artists, The Partridge Family, Mike Fornatale's 'An Uncommon Christmas Collection', it is truly incredible, it's Jan 11 and I can't bring myself to take the discs out of my player. [*Ok, it's now May , I took the christmas collection out of my player.] I LOVE GREAT ROCK N ROLL AND GREAT POP- but most of all, music that has elements of both, which is what I think often makes it 'great'.
All Scorcese, All Mel Brooks especially High Anxiety, other than that , mostly old ones I'll never know the titles of.
Seinfeld, Odd Couple, Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I haven't watched TV since April. Now the cable is turned off so there is no picture....or sound...
The Great Gatsby. Not one superfluous word in that sucker.
in my 8th grade yearbook (it was parochial school, hence the 8th grade graduation) I put ALAN ALDA for my hero. What's up with that? I think I heard he was a feminist? and I liked MASH.... Alan Alda is fine but my real hero is my father.
