I have many interests. Just to name a few, I am interested in Aliens, Space Exploration, the stars, new scientific discoveries, meditation, spirituality, friendships ... the list can go on for miles!
Are you wondering why my name and a picture of an alien also known as a Zeta is on my page? It is because it has become my "nick-name" among my co-workers because I am writing a book about a teenaged alien girl named Tori. Although most humans think of Zeta's when they think of aliens Tori looks and thinks very similar to humans.
The story of Tori will be written in honor and dedicated to the many friends who trusted and loved her and who touched her spirit deeply. The love and devotion they shared enriched her spirit and helped her to know the beauty of life. The story belongs to them as much as it does to her, because they embraced it and lived it with all the caring that true friendships can provide. Life because of them has been enriched greatly, allowing me to embrace life without fear to live it. We truly are one...supporting, embracing loving and helping one another as God intended us to do. This is our purpose in life....Love. Namaste!
Oh! And for those of you who have never heard the word Namaste...it is a Sanskrit greeting (very similar to the word GROK seen in the books section of my profile) the word means that the love within your spirit embraces the love within my spirit and they flow together embracing God!

Interplanetary ExtendedRobert Heinlein is my favorite...but I like any authors who write Science Fiction.
To grok (pronounced GRAHK) something is to understand it so well that it is fully absorbed into oneself and becomes part of you. Robert Heinlein wrote the science fiction story, "Stranger in a Strange Land" where he introduced this awesome word! This simple Martian word literally means "drink" but metaphorically it means "to take everything within you" so that you can understand it totally or know the "oneness of it".
One of the characters from the book defined .."Grok" as understanding something or someone so thoroughly that the observer becomes a part of the observed merging completely with it, blending fully with it, thus totally losing the identity of the self in group experience. It means almost everything that we mean by religion, philosophy, science and so much more and it means as little to us (Earthings) as color means to a blind man.
Perhaps if those of us here on Earth would only open our spirit and allow ourselves to "grok" everything in life then peace will reign throughout this world.
My heroes are the many people who I speak to each day now, those who I have spoke to daily in the past and those who I have yet to speak to but will, for without them my days would be filled with silence.
