I have aspirations of keeping my friends list down to strictly those I relate to and converse with in 'real life' or whatever they're calling it these days. Having said that, I'm reasonably friendly. If you would like to engage me in conversation, feel free. I'm open to making new friends. If you are a band, I will gladly listen to you, but please direct your attention and friend requests to the Anamnesis page, which is the musical endeavour that currently consumes a vast portion of my life. (That would be at www.myspace.com/anamnesisband )
Diversity is refreshing. Centrally, my iPod consists of classical music and metal. I'm open to anything and have fairly divergent tastes.
This September was my 3-year anniversary of getting rid of television. I’d recommend it to anyone. Turn it off and have a conversation. Read a book. Dance in the rain. Hug someone you love. Do anything but sit down like some sort of comatose vegetable in front of the flashing box of doom.
Currently: Discipline and Punish - Foucault, The Phenomenology of Spirit - Hegel, Genealogy of Morality - Nietzsche, Fear and Trembling - Soren Kierkegaard, Totem + Taboo - Freud, The Myth of Sysyphus - Camus, and On Jesus - Douglas Groothuis. That and all my Goddamn textbook reading.
Kill your idols. Mimetic desire shall be revealed.
