Alright, its time i write a lil somethin about myself. Dont really like talkin bout myself because im one of those people who just "do", dont really believe in too much talkin but here i go...My name is Brian, 6’4 bout 290, brown hair, blue eyes. I have a beautiful 6yr old daughter named Sammy G. I jus recently divorced her momma after about 9 yrs of marriage. I was born in South Macomb Hospital on Feb. 21st 1975. Anyone who knows me will tell u, i dont look, nor do i act my age, and i sure as hell dont feel my age. From the age of 3 til the age of about 14 i was raised in Morgantown, KY. It was a real small town with only one traffic light. It was also a "dry" town, meaning they didnt sell any alcohol there at all, it was a very simple life. When my parents divorced, around the age of 14, I moved to MI with my mom. I spent most of my highschool years at Anchor BaY High. At age 17, i moved to Detroit where I spent pretty much the rest of my time up until about 3 mos. ago, i moved back to the bay wit my peoples to get my shit together. I like to say Im from the sticks to the bricks tho. When i moved up here I began to write rhymes, because while i loved rock music, and still do, hip hop was fun, and energetic, and innovative. So I wrote for quite a few years, til i was about 21, right around the time i had my first experience in a studio. let me tell u, thats where i fell in love. I knew that the studio was where i was destined to be, and thats where i picked up the name Madman. I do still write from time to time, a couple hooks here n there. But in my spare time, if im not with my baby girl, Sammy G, im makin music. I am also a chef, i can cook anything, n i mean ANYTHING. Cooking is how i been making it week to week for the past 15 yrs. Its not how i planned it to be but its an honest profession. i also work at my boy’s club on the weekend doing security. Its a new sushi bar/hip hop/techno bar downtown, the place is tight. Its called "Oslo" n it is on my friends list, check em out. But more than all that, I am as much a passionate man as i am a creative musician. I love my country, I love the principles and freedoms upon which my country was built on. I also have a deep understanding for life...My actions are based on the knowledge that this will all end one day. I live every moment of everyday knowing that my life will end at any given moment. The end comes, no matter what and coming to that realization has actually relinquished my fear of death. Once you no longer fear death, then there is but one thing left to ask yourself. How do u wanna LIVE, on your feet, or on your knees? And that is the lesson I bring to this life.
