About Me

Two screenplays produced so far. “Caroline At Midnight” (reviews follow) was a murder mystery that starred Tim Daly, Mia Sara and Virginia Madsen. “Unfaithful”, a thriller, featured Barry Bostwick, Lesley-Anne Down and Teresa Hill. I also received story credit for the film "Lola's Game". Besides my own work, I've done uncredited script doctoring on several projects. In addition to screenwriting, I enjoy offbeat comedic fiction. For that outlet, I have a website with my partner, Elaine Ewing, through our own Ether Entertainment, Rink Write Dot Com, and I've also written for National Lampoon.“CAROLINE AT MIDNIGHT” REVIEWS:From David Parkinson-Radio Times: This thriller has the dual advantage of a nail biting script by Travis Rink, and a splendid cast to make the endless twists and turns seem totally convincing. What with phone calls from dead girlfriends, drug dealing cops and romances with terrified wives, director Scott McGinnis’s film never lets up for a second, right down to its unexpected ending. Mia Sara stands out in a cast that also boasts Virginia Madsen and Tim Daly. From Martin & Porter’s Video Guide: CAROLINE AT MIDNIGHT (4 STAR RATING) Here’s a little thriller that really works. Tim Daly is a journalist who receives a phone call from a deceased girlfriend, and finds himself involved with the frightened wife (Mia Sara) of a dirty cop who may have been responsible for the girlfriend’s death. Travis Rink’s script is logical all the way to its surprising finish, and each character behaves credibly, if not always intelligently.Film posters and other material pertaining to my work can be seen on my "My Pictures" page.
