About Me

Sonic Disorder has been making homemade schitzoprhenic noise since '93 when Erik Disorder was only 15, Sonic Disorder in not always easy to describe as it can be as varied and odd as erik himself. Minimal electronics, single and multi layered sound/noise-scapes, odd samples and loops, radioactive shitnoise, annoying and delerious ramblings, sound collage and mixtures of abused musical forms when the pontiff joins the mix. Sonic Disorder has an original but not always palatable sound. Over the years Sonic Disorder has done almost countless cassettes on D.i.y. labels that scrape the bottom of the underground, also cdr and vinyl. Erik has done it solo and with a variety of collaborators, whether live or studio, Sonic Disorder will confuse and fuck you up with odd experimentation.

Also known to provide the half gallon of old crow, one of our biggest influences and best freinds.Sonic Disorder operates solo (Erik) or as a duo, in the past other collaborators included Jeremy Bequette, Amanda Parker Ford, Alex, Matt, Shaun,Malachi, Sara, and other victims of the bootlegger
Influences: The Earwigs, Gwop Rec, Stupidity Rec, End Of Silence, Deche Charge, Throbbing Gristle, Nurse with Wound, Whitehouse, Tori Amos, Britney Spears, Impetigo, Spice Girls, Post Prandials, Merzbow, Massona, Madonna, Naked Insects, Black Humor.....and I'm inspired by "noise" in general, cheesy pop, and people still at it from the 80's home-taper scene
