J-Remi was born in Kansas City Missouri in 1983. Remi's parents divorced when he was 6 years old. His mother took custody of him and his two younger brothers. Coming from a broken home, Remi found his self surrounded by drugs and crime. In and out of jail for small charges, and placed on probation for several years for assault in a public school. J-Remi found himself spiralling down to nothing but failure. In 2002 is when remi and his younger brothers started freestyling, and he realized there was more to life. J-Remi has recorded 22 tracks, produced by phil paladino of Mobb Boss Entertainment. The first mixtape has been released featuring local Kansas Artists like 1-De-Em-6, Blue Chip, Kai Hooks, J-Farrari, J-Black, Dr.Dilznik, And K-Lo.
