to think with your heart and feel with your head........Brief history: Born a dreamer, loved childhood,School,constantly got told off for daydreaming, become the Northeasts top breakdancer, danced at the legendary Tiffs in Newcastle with the Breakcity crew,also danced as a proffessional for 5 years,first gig I shared the back stage changing room with strippers( at 15yrs old!!) I was also a graffitti artist( wildstyle baby).Had a fantastic teens but myself and the lads got into too many fights. Then Mellowed out wrote beat poetry(still writing today).Started Djing in 87" been collecting records since 81". Got into Soul music BIG BIG style,Fell in love with music and fell in love one time.Gained a Degree at university in Arts and Design finaly my daydreaming found a home!!! I DJ on a regular basis (one of the best,believe me)and Play the top notch underground stuff,everything from breakbeat sets to house sets,soul,funk sets or mixed genre sets!! I really know my shit man!I am the train spotter of top notch tunes!!!!! I am also in a funk band called Seventythree, Six lads and one girl who are all very talented. I must say we are very unique in music style and mad as hatters when on the road. so in all,musics been my life,music is my life, will always be my life. I have recently linked up with DJ Mitch(Monty Casino)because of mutual admiration of musical knowledge to form a DJ duo outfit we have called 'SCRUFFYWAX'(Meaning-Rare 'dirty vinyl') myspace.com/scruffywax .The concept we deliver is fine beats from ourselves sometimes featuring guest Dj's and/or Nu Groove/funk bands playing pure underground music. We are a backlash to typical dance music and Dj's thinking they are God(listen to the music played from your soul, not idolise the DJ),Just believe in soul and the beat!!! In the beginning, there was Jack, and Jack had a groove. And from this groove came the groove of all grooves. Now some of you who might wonder, "Who is Jack, and what is it that Jack does?" Jack is the one who gives you the power to jack your body! Jack is the one who gives you the power to do the snake. Jack is the one who gives you the key to the wiggly worm. Jack is the one who learns you how to walk your body. Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all Jackers together under one house. You may be black, you may be white; you may be Jew or Gentile. It don't make a difference in OUR House.
