Yesterday Saturday the 10th of November I was able to be part of the Gold Coast Human Rights Torch Relay. Along side me were friends as well as world known people such as the Hon MAYOR Ron Clarke of the Gold Coast and Bill Wakefield to name a few.The event was run by Emmy Pfister and it kicked off from Eileen Peters Park in Surfers Paradise.The Global Human Rights Torch Relay was initiated by the coalition to investigate the persecution of the FALUN GONG in China. An independent non government organization with over 350 regular members from lawyers to all types of faith groups.It has numerous supports around the world. Its main goal is to act with different governments and agencies around the globe with the intention of calling a halt to the ongoing human rights violations that are allegedly occurring everyday in the people’s republic of China.It is alleged that the communist regime are taking and jailing people with no cause. It is alleged that the execution of people is going on everyday for crimes such as freedom of speech and even searching certain sites on the internet. People are also executed for white collar crimes. This allegedly occurs for the main reason of organ harvesting.People are allegedly treated as a number and if your number is up (or an organ you have is a match for a need) then it’s all over.Australian animals have more rights that the alleged persecution of the beings that have been mentioned above and it is appalling for me even to search on the web. I felt ill and even cried as to the things that I had read.I had tried to write a few short notes for something to say at this event yesterday but could not bring myself to do it. So I spoke for a brief 6 minutes from the heart. This organization is not asking for money its not asking for a donation just a name to a letter. This way people may get the indepedant inquiry to help save these innocent lives.I personally when I found out about this cause got in touch with Prime television in Southport on the Gold Coast. I then personally got in touch with the bulletin Newspaper on the Gold Coast. They all seemed enthused yet did they make an appearance at the event? Will anything be mentioned about the event?Probably not. The Honorable Mayor Mr. Ron Clarke and long time friend was the only person who had the belief and the heart to open, make a speech, and run with the torch with his wife.I am a little person with no pull but that one person can make a difference and I hope with my appearance alongside these great people that the people in question get the inquiry and the rights as any living human or animal should.People have the right to speak. It is alleged that a Chinese is currently serving a ten year jail sentence for sending an email. That’s right I will leave it in your hands now otherwise I will write forever.
