Books: I don't read as much as I should, but I'm getting better nowadays. And though many of my 'educated' friends will be horrified, some of my favorites include: Da Vinci Code and Harry Potter (YES all); Enlightened reading I enjoy: Conversations with God series, Celestine Prophecy, most books by Deepak Chopra and Dr. Wayne Dyer; Always reading something from my favorite author Ray Bradbury.

I mean, the list could go on forever, but the ones listed above have actually inspired particular poems and exploration of style and form.
Favorite author of all time: Ray Bradbury
Heroes: My Mom, Ray Bradbury, Lucille Clifton, Glen, Locksley, Faith Rivera, Ali Handal, Jacq
Life's Inspiration: Warm chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven, cooked, but gooey; long walks on the beach (corny, but I LOVE them); seven year old children making games out of everything; advances in technology and advances in ways to hide from it....; NASA (National Aeronautics Space Administration); the night sky, especially the view from the high sierras in California where the sky looks like a velvet black cloth with thousands of tiny holes through which the light behind shines through, so many shooting stars you can't keep count; Jupiter (yes, the planet); Loud, loud music with the a cool breeze, sunshine, and the top of my mustang down while I drive to Malibu on a day where I have NOWHERE to be.......
