Im just Brianna..luving life... living it to the fullest and having a blast! Im living in new york city and loving every minute of it, except when the train decides to stop and Im crammed in uncompromising positions against total strangers. Williamsburg is what I call home, and I cant imagine spending my time elsewhere. Theres great music blocks away, awesome food delivered late,the best bloody marys which prove to be needed, random dance parties everywhere and friends close by. Traveling is by far my favorite thing to do. ( Also relocating for months @ a time) I lived Hawaii for a moment in time and also in London briefly. Australia is my current location but I will always end up back in NYC. I think people should be spontaneous and adventerous all the time. I don't stress the day to day things in life, I just go with the flow and take life as it comes. Music is my passion, drum and bass is my heart. Something about that music just makes me feel alive. I luv luv luv dancing. The beach is my sanctuary and I wish I could spend my days at the beach in hawaii and my nights in nyc, but since i havnt figured out how to do that yet, Ill stay in the city. Friends, family, love, music and food is what matters most to me. Ive been lucky enough to turn my passion for music into a lil djing gig and I only want to make as many people dance as I can in this lifetime. As far as a little bit more about my djing heres a lil bio~ Katalyst B has been rocking the dance floors with her eclectic style of drum and bass for the past few years in CT,NYC,MA & Miami. After falling in love with the music and the culture, promoting parties and supporting the scene, djing came about very naturally. Growing up in CT, Katalyst was in the heart of the underground music scene on the east coast. With NY,Mass,Philly and D.C all a short distance away, there was always a chance to experience the best Djs and music the world had to offer. Coming prepared with a dancers perspective in mind, Katalyst is determined to keep the dancefloor moving. After living in Hawaii and a short time in London, Katalyst was inspired to be a part of a music scene she always supported. The venues and soundsystems in London showed her just how big drum and bass is, and can be because every club had drum and bass in the main room which is much bigger then the scene was in the U.S. where it was always in the side room of the parties. Katalyst moved back to the U.S and this time decided to make some noise from NYC. Residing in New York City has opened many doors and served as an inspiration to keep drum and bass blasting through the speakers for generations to come. Katalyst loves to support Threshold in CT, Fluid in Northhampton,Ma and Direct Drive and Camoflauge in NYC. Keep an ear out for the music to come from someone who passionately wants to leave a mark on the drum and bass scene.
