I am the director of www.verticaldance.com a pole fitness school in the UK. My business and pole fitness is my life.I am Dislexic and have a spelling age of an eight year old, I couldnt read properly untill i was about 20. I have just written my first book which is a great personal achievement (yet to be published). So please excuse the spellings!!!I has been pole dancing for over 11 years and has worked all over the world as a pole dancer, show girl and now a Vertical Dance, Instructor. I hope that I am now more know for my teaching skill so that I can make way for the younger ones to perform.
I have been heavily involved in sports from a young age, representing the east of England in netball and the county in hockey and athletics. She gained a BTEC National Diploma in sports studies and has exercise to music qualification, with full membership to REP's. I have worked tirelessly to achieve recognition for pole dance as a reputable form of group fitness and provide the industry with standards and guidelines, resulting in the world's first instructors qualification in Vertical Dance launched in association with Focus Training. Hopefully all my hard work is paying off.
Leisure Industry Week saw the first of many presentations on Vertical Fitness with invites to speak at the REP'S conventions later this year.
I have a close relationship with X-Pole, helping to test and improve the product to its full potential and I am lucky enouth to be the face of X-Pole and present the Instructional DVD that accompanies the pole.
I have just completed my first book titled the Vertical Dance Work-out which she hope to be published in the near future. I am especially proud of this achievement as I suffers from dyslexia.
