If you were to describe LOOCH in one word it would be "DIVERSE".Looch was born in Long Island, New York and Moved to Brooklyn as a youngin'. Raised by his Grandmother Bernadette Conticello . Growin up in an Italian neighborhood Looch adopted the principles of the Old School Mafiosos that influenced him: Trust, Respect, Loyalty and FAMILY! These are the principles by which he leads his life today as well as putting God First in everything he does. Coming from a Broken home with very little Money LOOCH learned the Value of a Dollar Quickly.By the Age of 12 LOOCH was Runnin the Streets with his Cousin "Jon Clue" Bombing and Taggin Subways and Buildings (GRAFITTI), Selling Trees and writin lyrics to the MC's beats he idolized at the time. Focused on Music he also played Bass in several Bands, he was doing shows by age 15 at famous clubs like CBGB's in New York's Lower East Side. He Travelled back n forth to Long Island to be with his Mom and Younger siblings often, who lived in Central Islip/Brentwood the home of Famous Artists like EPMD and Rakim (Wyandanch). Being in this environment influenced him further soon LOOCH started bouncin between studios meetin different Producers and M.C.s doing local artist showcases and battling other Rappers just about everywhere he went.In 1994 LOOCH was picked up by Big Beat/ Atlantic Records which turned out to be a Hard Lesson about the Music Industry. Just because you get signed it doesnt mean youre going anywhere...His A&R left the company in the middle of his project and LOOCH was "shelfed". In 1995 Looch attended the Audio Recording Technology Institute in Hauppauge Long Island and received a certification as a Recording Engineer. He again bounced from Studio to Studio working on his own material and helping other local Artists with Production, Writing and Mixing.In 1998 LOOCH picked up and moved to Charlotte NC, sick of strugglin in NY he realized he could obtain alot more moving Down South like a Home, a Studio of his own and a better place to raise his family. He quickly obtained everything that seemed out of reach in NY (unless youre sellin dope). Building his arsenal of Studio equipment rather quickly LOOCH began Recording and Producing local artists. In 2000 Looch was working wth FUBU records (under his own indie label La Casa Nostra Records) who quckly took interest in his own group "Connected" comprised of two Italian American brothers Luciano and Don Vito, this venture lasted about as long as the Label itself..LOLIn 2005 LOOCH made some changes in his own life drawing closer to GOD , LOOCH formed "Higher Powered Entertainment" and is coining this new brand of Hip Hop "LIFE MUSIC". As a Producer LOOCH is not just out for Paper but here to influence the masses in an industry dominated by Ignorance, Self Centeredness and Negativity. His goal is to keep on Producing Tracks for all Artists knowing he will achieve the fame and status other producers are enjoying right now, he will use this to "PAY IT FORWARD" and give back to the community bringing back the love and Unity which Hip Hop was founded upon.LOOCH is a Producer, Recording Engineer, Writer and Mentor. He is also currently working as a Talent Scout for Atlantic Records A&R Davy DMX (how Ironic). He Has a Private Recording Studio in Charlotte NC offering Production, Recording and Artist Development sevices.
