Soncerae has substance and an arsenal of ubiquitous talents.As early as 6 years old Soncerae was winning awards for her musical talents and exceptional abilities. Inspired by her peers, Soncerae and a few of her friends started a 3-girl singing group covering songs by Jade, En Vogue, Whitney Houston, and Xscape.Upon the group’s demise Soncerae, 11, decided to strengthen her talents and continue on performing solo at local talent shows and showcases. As time progressed, her voice became a hot commodity in the Washington, D.C. Metro area music scene. Area producers regularly requested her singing services to add flavor to their projects.Once again Soncerae was encouraged by her fellow believers to start a gospel group. The 8-person band was a success and was asked to travel throughout the south eastern region to perform at church functions and award shows.Sadly, the group’s failure to agree with management corrupted the group’s bond. Returning to the recording studio, Soncerae, 16, in an effort to hone her own craft she began to write the hooks that she was hired to record. After an impromptu hook on one of DC’s most popular rap artist’s, 2-Face Da Don. Soncerae’s artistic style made a drastic change. Discovering her ability to write phenomenal lyrics to rap music she decided to ask for 16-bar verses instead of hooks from that point on.Soon after Soncerae was dubbed Sauce Millimeter, for her armor piercing words of rhyme. She began to groom the deep sultry flow that became her voice signature. Since she had been featured on a number of mixtapes and albums.At the age of 20, Sauce moved to Atlanta, GA to turn her beloved hobby into a platinum career. While, performing cover songs with local "Go-Go" Band "XO Band", she also played ghost writer for a number of prominent male rap artists in the south. Surviving two spirit draining record deals and a number of indecent proposals impelled Soncerae to start her own entertainment company TWINIMI (twin-a-my) to release 2 albums.While interning at Def Jam South, Sauce continued to pursue her career. Auditioning for reality TV shows for FOX, UPN, MTV, and BET, Soncerae felt discouraged and took a 1 year sabbatical. She moved to Charlotte, NC where she began her modeling career while also performing cover songs with the local band "The Company". Encouraged by a group of local artists in “The Queen City†Soncerae started perfecting her craft, preparing herself for her return to the Hip Hop industry.She moved back to Atlanta. Providing singing & ghost writing services for Grand Hustle, DARP Studios, and an immense amount of rap artists and producers, she continues to nurture her drive for success. Hosting, performing & appearing. Building on her other talents, (modeling, marketing, and graphic design) Soncerae lives up to her name.
