So, you want to know more about me? There's a lot, I must caution you. Well, here goes! *takes a deep intake of breath*
I am a 17 year old living in Lakewood, Ohio. I go to Lakewood High School, and participate in many, many things.
First, music: I enjoy listening to music, as well as arranging music for bands and orchestras. I also play the trombone in: A) Marching Band, B) Wind Ensemble (the top concert band), and C) Jazz Band (the top Jazz Band).
I also enjoy Stage Lighting, among all other aspects of theatre, but mostly lighting. So much so that I work in the Lakewood Civic Auditorium, a professional theatre which also happens to be right in the middle of my high school. Many shows come here...for example, the semi-annual northeastern U.S. Met-RX bodybuilding competition is held in the Civic. Concerts are also popular at the Civic, from Comedy Central Live to O.A.R., and Joan Baez to Cindy Lauper.
I am also a very active member in the Lakewood High School Barnstormers Drama Club. I dare say we are well known in the area for some of the best productions in the area. I was in the cast of the fall comedies, "The Full Treatment," and "Tom Jones," and the winter drama, "Antigone". This year's musical was "Pippin." I was the Student Technical Director and Stage Manager for this show. It proved to be quite a challenge. It was a great show, nonetheless.
I have also joined The Lakewood Project, America's first high school Rock Orchestra, much like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. We have gotten a lot of our help, in fact, from Mark Wood, who is the electric violin player/maker in TSO. Lucky us, it's at Lakewood High, as well! I have been given the position of being the lighting guy, though I do a little of everything there! :)
