Hi there! Welcome to my Myspace page! I'm Mike.
I guess the first thing I could say about myself is that I'm an actor, entering my third and final year studying acting at Unitec's School of Performing and Screen Arts. It's a great place where I can do what I love nearly everyday full time. I must admit, acting takes up alot of my time, whether I'm at school or going over scripts n stuff out of class, but the thing is, I LOVE every bit of it!
When I'm not acting, I quite enjoy hitting the gym. Been bulking up a bit and it's kinda earnt me the nickname "Muscle Bound Jock" by my classmates lol. Someone also called me "Guns McGee" recently and people have also been recently asking me for tickets... to the Guns Show LOL. Now that I'm holiday, I'm really keen to take all this spare time to really build and sculpt myself. Also really looking forward to taking up kickboxing again at the start of next year with Ed n Vic. Lol realised I gotta also do way more yoga, my hamstrings are so tight and my movement teacher, Becca, says I need to realise my upper body too LOL! Healthy body, healthy mind :-).
I also enjoy hanging out with mates, going on "emo trips" lol, this darn addiction to Myspace, taking lots of photos (on my new digital camera!), going to the movies and theatre, geeking it out video games, and on some days, having a quite one just loungin' at home. :-)

Music:

At the moment, Generally whatever's mainstream lol. I go through phases of liking different stuff. At the moment, just whatever's on tv or the radio lol. Been quite into NZ artist Brooke Fraser recently, she comes out with beautiful songs.

Movies:

I like action flicks mainly, also like romantic drama films too. Favourite movies are Forrest Gump, Closer, the Spider-Man movies and Superman Returns, which is the last DVD I bought, seen it? If not I suggest we have a movie sesh! :-)

Television:

Anything and most shows. I usually turn on the TV when I'm doing something and just have it in the background. But I do get to watch quite a lot of stuff this way. I don't find myself turning it on for a specific program, that is, except for my oh so secret shame of a TV show I cannot reveal.

Books:

I've been reading a lot more recently. I'm not usually much of a reader but I have started to get into reading during these holidays, it's great! The last thing I read was Shakespeare's King John, I'm in the middle of an acting technique book at the moment, and I also got Peter Jackson's biography for Christmas so I guess that's on the menu too! Don't I just sound proud of myself? haha lol :-)
