I'd like to meet:
I’d like to meet those who are aware that they are on their way somewhere. Somewhere: that I cannot lead them or wish to follow for we are on our own path of destiny. Where we meet on this journey I am aware is but a stage; where we bring refreshment; as we recount our stories of passing through the dry places and we can share a laugh to wipe our tear stained faces and retie our show laces. At the stage where we meet we become friends; where I tell you what makes it worthwhile walking these miles. At our departure we are still together, in spirit, for you have drop gems into my soul which gives me memories. Our meeting has no end; the only thing that would prevent me from seeing you again; is if either of us retreats to familiarity before our journey ends.
Music:
Instead of listing genres and names I’ll say this: wisdom in music will always offend but music made for the soul ain’t looking for friends. I cannot separate the music from the soul; for the voice and fingers are the morrow but the soul is the bone. A lot of people think they know what ‘soul music’ is and have sold their souls in their definition. Only a few are ‘souled out’ and these are the ones I listen to. These are the precious few whose music offends the wondering many. Whether these few speak change through instruments or they use their voice; their music offends me (for truth; silent or spoken hurts a lot sometimes) but I keep going back for more. What does Ludwig van Beethoven and Ladysmith Black Mambazo have in common with Michael Jackson or Lauryn Hill? Soul... music knows no boundary because it is the epitome of freedom to all those who are souled out.

Television:
I’ve lived in London for seven years and have not yet been able to define television. Do you mean brands like Sony, Samsung etc?
Books:
“reading maketh a full man so read and read all you can. Join the library or buy a book and give it more than just a passive look. by bread alone a man shall not live but by words you know he’s got a lot to give†I learned this little song while attending primary school in Jamaica and ever since I’ve never forgotten it and it is one of the truths I live by. The first appropriate toy I got suffered an untimely death in 1988, during one of Jamaica’s major storms. From that day forward it has been books all the way. It is cheap price to pay to travel around the world, meet people from all different walks or life only to find that our quest is very much the same. If you don’t know what the ‘quest†is might I suggest that you start reading. I don’t have to tell you what to read for the more you read the more you start to choose that which ignites that inner flame.
