I love cooking and have been told I am an excellent cook. I read when I have time, but I dont realLy get much time being a working mum. I'm reading a very deep book called piece of cake by Cupcake Brown at the moment... very deep.. read it if you get the chance it will make you laugh and cry all at the same time. However Music is my life, I would always listen to music rather than watch tv (unless X factor or American idol are on )or anything else for that matter. I guess my space has become an interest of mine too recently.. I have met some lovely people on here!!

Any like minded individuals really.. with similar interests I suppose, current friends and any old ones that think they know me!! I am new to my space and would be interested in speaking to anyone really.In terms of celebrities I would like to meet LEMAR (he is soooooooo fine)as he has done a great deal for black British music, Simon Cowell as he is a very interesting person and i think quite misunderstood too.. love ya simon even when you're mean, Leona, Robert and Ashley from XFACTOR and last but not least by any means Sharon Osbourne as I think we are a kindred spirit...loved the autobiography you go Sharon I love ya My daughter is being Sharon in her school play earth Factor....FABULOUS DARLING!!

I love Rare groove, lovers and revival, Motown and some R'n'B. Music is my passion and My Ipod is never far away.I am Lemar's biggest fan but my all time favourites ( IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER) are Aretha Franklin,Percy Sledge,Otis Reading, Bob Marley,Roberta Flack,John Holt, Dennis Brown, Mary j Blige,Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys, Anita Baker,Joss Stone, Faith Evans, Dave Hollister, Beverley Knight,Gregory Issacs, Sanchez, Jah Cure, Jaheim and Teddy Pendergrass.Just to mention a few but I love sooo many artists there are too many to list in this small space.
Movies:
OH Films.. very varied really !! of course I love silly soppy romance films( what girl doesn't).. Hate most horrors and sci-fi with a passion.., my favourite film is The Colour Purple. I love films that make an impact on me mostly.
Television:
Dont really do telly...... apart from X Factor and American idol when they are on. Watch House also when I get a chance. the telly is usually split between my husbands football (chelsea supporter) and my daughters disney channel to be honest.
But once Xfactor or American Idol are on a deathly silence falls accross my house.... the phone doesn't ring and the door doesn't go and my Husband and Daughter sit quietly for once a week... thank god for Simon cowell and Sharon Osbourne!! Oh why did they boot out 4sure, Dionne and the wonderful Ashley (APART FROM KERRY IS ANYONE SEEING A PATERN HERE!!).. the Macdonald brothers should go now they are pooo but i think the might boot off Nikita next ( care to guess why?)!!!!!
Books:
Love Patricia Cornwell,James Patterson,Dan Brown and martina cole but will read just about anything really given the chance. I love auto biographies too. I have just read a piece of Cake by Cupcake Brown that book is sooooooo good am now reading gods call girl its quite bizarre as its about a nun who turns into a prostitute!!!
Heroes:
Heroes.. heroes ... so many and so little space....Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks,Steve biko,Nelson Mandela, My great aunt Dorothy ( aged 95)is also a big hero for me and so is my 10 year old Daughter Chelsea and hubbie Gaz. I could bore you all with my lists of inspirational people for ages but I wont..thats another conversation entirely got to leave something for us to talk about!
