The Halfway Crooks are a dynamic group of musicians from Yonkers, New York who are currently invading your local bar scene and infiltrating the industry with a new sound and original style that just might make you cream your pants. The group is known for their energetic performances and crazy stage antics which makes every show a party within itself. When you're at a Crooks show you never know what your going to get. The only constant is the great music which is always provided and on point. The group strives to make the audience more than just onlookers as they take steps to get as many people as possible involved with the music. One night you may find yourself watching the band get their heads shaved on stage, the next you might be showered with gifts such as balloon animals(which are made by the Playa Grande during a guitar solo which makes them all the better). And occassionally MC Spectacular is there to help everyone make some noise and feel good with the biggest bottle of beer in town. Collaborations with special guests and cover songs done with a twist you never expected make the Halfway Crooks a must-see act that attract fans of all different musical backgrounds to unite under a common interest... damn good music and a damn good time. The group is currently recording a comprehensive debut album which is due out in the summer of 2007 but until then you can listen to some songs from their Double EP which was just released in January 2007.
