i love it all! well, not all. jazz and classical bug the hell out of me. i think my brain is one of those brains that must have music with a beat. you know, the eight-count, whatever the hell that's called. ninth grade chorus was a looong time ago. current stuff would include scissor sisters, the killers, the fray, christina aguilera (that girl can sang!), blue october, anything from stonebridge or freemasons, and, in some kind of retro-flashback-frenzy i've totally gotten into a .38 special kick lately.
steel magnolias (drink your juice, shelby!), postcards from the edge, my best friend's wedding, team america, south park the movie (the music is amazing), bourne supremacy, american beauty, all the pierce brosnan 007's, anything from mel brooks, anything with "planet of the apes" in the title, shawshank redemption, brokeback mountain, and, honest to god i could watch long kiss goodnight once a week and still love it.
Weeds, cuz it's the best show on tv and mary louise parker is a doe-eyed goddess, Nip/Tuck cuz i live in la and, well, everyone i know has had somethin' nipped or tucked, Dexter, which is just wickedly sick, Battlestar Galactica cuz there is a sci-fi dork in me screaming to be let out, and the office, because i really want jim and pam to get together, but it looks like that ain't gonna happen cuz now there's that new bimbo makin' eyes at jimmy. also, survivor, because it's a tradition; friends come over, we drink, we watch, we have no recollection the following day. thank god for tivo. oh, and lost, just because i figure one day they're gonna give us something.
anything vampire from anne rice, janet evanovich, james rollins, dan brown, all kinds of military thrillers, books by michaal demercurio, james robinson (before he got all right-wing propaganda crazy), james patterson (mainly alex cross stuff), joe buff.
