I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 Hey everyone, this is Kemble Walters from Juliette and The Licks. I am starting this site to get to know you all better. I will be posting blogs from shows, experiences with my new friends (you), and all other musical ventures I go through. Basically, I want to get to know EVERYONE!!Let me start by telling you all a little bit about myself. I am a mulit-instrumentalist who has been playing music for years. I guess the pation started in highschool. I was in band as a percusionist as well as a trumpeteer (is that the word...?). But yeah, drums were my first instrument, then came guitar. I lived in Indonesia for 16 yrs, all of my schooling carreer i guess yo u could say, then moved to Austin, Tx. This is where my carrert in music really took off. I had many bands in high school, but nothin that put me to the next level. In Austin, as most anywhere else in the world, drummers are hard to come by. My first "real" band was a band called The Rise (whos video is in the music section). My sis' introduced me to this crew of bandits and thank you for that. I love this band, we toured and wrote songs for about 2 yrs before we disbandond due to other interests. Our singer and lead guitarist went on to do design as well as remixes (http://www.myspace.com/ocelot_mthrfckrs ) both of which are amazing. Our bassist danny plays with Trail of Dead, rythym guitarist is now a lawyer... you get the story. We still get together to rock out and play surprise shows, maybe if your lucky you'll catch one ;) Next was Vise Versa, a band which I am the singer/gtarist. I was finally on the axe, it took forever to get away from drums in a band (something i wish i was still doin' but i'm lookin for it hahaha). We released one EP and toured a bit, but our problem is that we loved to hang out too much. At our shows we would play, get off stage and just party with the crowd!! I love hanging with fun people. So, in turn, we sold no merch cause we would never be behind the tables to sell it. Vise Versa decided it was time for a break. We all wanted to explore other things. Carlos and Jimmy whent on to do the New Disaster which is really cool stuff (www.myspace.com/viseversa the last song on our page). I have recently disbanded from Juliette and the Licks; a group I have spent many years, blood, sweat and tears with. I have made the move to finnish off my solo record and become a leader of my own. Keep your ears peeled for my new solo stuff to come out which I feel will be a pleasent surprise for all of us as well as surprise shows from my other bands... I did forget to mention PASTEL (http://www.myspace.com/pastelrocks) and THROUGH THE VALLEY OF LOST SOULS (http://www.myspace.com/throughthevalleyoflostsouls) which is John and I bein bored and makin some hilarious tunes, this is truly a sight to see HAHAHA!!Sorry this is so long, but yeah, that's me, I'm a rocker and I aint' ever gonna stop!! BOOOYAAAAHH!!!
