About Me

My real name is Joe Fahy. I believe that you can't eat soup with a knife. I also believe that a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor. I believe that a fool is thirsty in the midst of water. But I believe a little water is a sea to an ant. I believe if you're going to buy a camel, build a big enough door. I believe the correct answer to a fool's question is silence. I also would say I believe that when one is prepared, difficulties never seem to occur. I'd say I believe a fault denied is two committed. I believe that you shouldn't try to swallow the whole cow if you're just going to choke on its tail. I believe that when spiders unite, they can tie down a lion. I believe what you see in yourself, you see in the world. I believe a clever person turns big troubles into little ones and little ones into none at all. I believe a closed mind is like a closed book, just a block. I believe a courtesy much entreated is half recompensed. I would tell you, a day of sorrow seems longer than a month of happiness. I believe an unmanned lighthouse is more dangerous than a reef. I believe, even a fall in a ditch makes you wiser. I believe a hasty man will never understand sorrow. I believe humanity's discontent is its worst enemy. I believe saying something cannot be done will only interrupt the person doing it. I believe a person whose heart is not content is like a snake trying to eat an elephant. I believe a rumor can go in one ear and out the mouths of a hundred. I believe you can't find clams in a field. I believe a single beam cannot support a house. But I believe a single conversation with a wise-man is better than ten years of study. I believe a smart rabbit will have three doors to its den. I believe after three days without reading, conversation becomes flavorless. I believe an ambassador bears no blame. I believe if you aren't ready for favorable winds, they won't arrive. I believe one should not be disturbed by being misunderstood, but be disturbed by misunderstanding itself. I believe you need to HAVE a horse if you're going to go searching for a better one. I believe, better a diamond with a flaw than a plain old rock without one. I believe, better a dinner of herbs where love is than a dinner of roast meat where gloom dwells. I believe it's better to be too credulous than too skeptical. I believe if you cheat the Earth, the Earth will cheat you. I believe you should never have each foot in a different boat. I believe, experience is the comb that nature gives us when we are bald. I believe the beautiful is less what one sees than what one dreams. I believe a stupid act entails doing the work twice over. I believe If you take big paces you leave big spaces. I really believe, if you truly want honesty, don't ask questions you don't really want the answer to. I believe, a chattering bird builds a very poor nest. I believe it doesn't take a genius to spot a goat in a flock of sheep. I believe, never ask a barber if you need a haircut. I believe mouth and heart are wide apart. I believe wholeheartedly that rain does not fall on one roof alone.Very much so I believe that the sun will shine in your yard too, and most importantly of all, I believe he who fears bad luck shall never know good.
