About Me

Hola/Konnichiwa/Wie geht's/Yo! Insomnia Radio called Recliner "The best band you haven't heard of - yet," but we'll let you decide. For starters, pause the mp3 player ^ and check out our video for Float Away, featuring Janina Gavankar from The L Word. It was a finalist in the Sony/Epic MusicNation contest:
Don't miss our other videos posted here, and if you like what you hear please go to iTunes or CDBaby and grab a few Recliner tracks today.
MTV recently featured Recliner's music in an episode of "My Super-Sweet 16." it was the fourth show they've used our music on, maybe they should start playing our videos too? Please send them an email about it if you can. FuseTV played the bejeebers out of the All Pleaure video (they rule), and the Making a Friend video was an editor's pick on RollingStone.com.
Recliner has charted on radio stations from SF to Toronto. If you'd like to hear us on your local station, just let us know and we'll make sure they have the new Tranquilizer CD .
For more music and info, please visit our site . But enough about us, we wanna hear about you...

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: poisonpenrecords.com/recliner
Band Members: Arigato gozaimashita Nihon!! The Japan Tour 07
was a blast!! Rock is alive and well in Japan.
Lock On Future!! Mata ne, ^_^

kevin, george, john, ward
Influences: Good tequila, bad behavior, analog tape, twizzlers, wasabi.

Our sound has been called contagious, neurotic, melodic, relentless - the perfect music for washing your car, or driving it over a cliff. Tube-fed guitars, driving rhythms and sweet vocal harmonies, recorded and mixed entirely on analog tape (look ma - no pro tools) for that warm, buttered-bacon feel. That's Recliner in a nutsack (shell - we meant nutshell).

Sounds Like: "hyakubun wa ikken ni shikazu."

Nihon ga daisuki desu! In Japan, we are represented by Outbreak Records .

Record Label: Poison Pen Records
Type of Label: Indie
