About Me

MySpace Comments at GlitterBell.comOur oldest, Nike...almost 11......... Our middle child...Blizzard...he's 6 [Don't worry Bizzy, Mommy understands what it feels like to be the middle child!!!]Our newest baby, Luna.....she's almost 2 DIABLO' 10/17/1994- 8/2006 R.I.P."If heaven was a tear it'd be my last one and you'd be in our arms again...."
MySpace Comments Graphics..I have had several life changing events happen and unhappen in my life, the last several years......It has definitely changed the way I view the world. I have had it all, only to walk away from it all and I'm on my way to having it all again, and then some!!!!!Most importantly I have changed my view on what " having it all" really means. It means absolutely NOTHING, if your not sharing it with right person. Adversity has made me stronger, not weaker.I have learned the hard way[that's the only way], who I can truly count on in life. I have learned what REALLY is important, and that money really DOESN'T buy happiness.....I have learned humilty and experienced heartbreak and have come out of it a MUCH better person......I will never let someone or anything drag me down or control me again......I have a wonderful circle of friends who have been by me through thick and thin.THANK YOU, you know who you are....And for those of you who turned your back on me, shame on you...... We the human race] seem to create our own drama and victimize ourselves. I have no tolerance for people who play the "victim" card...We have ALL had defeats, sorrows and pain....Some more than others...... Sometimes brought on by our own lack of judgement and sometimes just good 'ole bad luck. It REALLY is how you handle the bad times that makes you a stronger, more respected individual. I believe that happiness is a choice and it doesn't come without some sort of effort and heartache. It doesn't just "miraculously" land on your front door step...It comes from within and it ends up being the smallest things that really end up bringing it to fruition. I spent so many years of my life "taking" the long way around...Feeling like a tortured soul and feeling so "different"....Only to realize it was a cop out....Avoidance is a dangerous thing... So, when I stopped trying to prove my worthiness to everyone else, out came the happy creature that was lying dormant for so long.... ....It takes a lot introspection to be comfortable in ones own skin. More times than not, it's not easy to face what you find when you dig down deep......But it's a necessary evil.....If you use it to your advantage it can be empowering........ I CHOOSE to be happy......I have a wonderful man who supports all my decisions. He brings out the best in me and is not intimidated by letting me shine.....We have been through so much together and I would do it ALL again.... xoxoxoxoxo

Heroes:

Anyone who works hard to prevent cruelty to animals and "no kill" shelters.....The only reason I don't work in one is because I would be a wreck and would want to have all of them...And to those of you who don't like animals, I DON'T TRUST YOU...Did you hear me???I SAID, I DON'T LIKE YOU OR TRUST YOU!!!I am very easy going until this subject comes up...This is not a gray area of my life....If you don't like animals, then you are not welcome on my page and more than likely we won't be friends...I'm not kidding...And to those of you who do...RESCUE,RESCUE,RESCUE!! IF I HAD NO DOGS...(by Unknown Author)I could walk around the yard barefoot in safety. My house could be carpeted instead of tiled and laminated. All flat surfaces, clothing, furniture, and cars would be free of hair. When the doorbell rings, it wouldn't sound like the kennels. When the doorbell rings, I could get to the door without wading through fuzzy bodies who beat me there.I could sit on the couch the way I wanted, without taking into consideration how much space several fur bodies would need to get comfortable.I would not have strange presents under my Christmas tree -- dog bones, stuffed animals , nor would I have to answer to people why I wrap them.I would not be on a first-name basis with three veterinarians. The most used words in my vocabulary would not be: out, sit, down, come, no, stay, and leave him/her/it ALONE.My house would not be cordoned off into zones with baby gates or barriers. My pockets would not contain things like poop bags, treats and an extra leash.I would no longer have to spell the words B-A-L-L-, F-R-I-S-B-E-E, or W-A-L-K.I would not have as many leaves INSIDE my house as outside.I would not look strangely at people who think having ONE dog ties them down too much.I'd look forward to spring and the melting of snow instead of dreading mud season. I would not have to answer the question "Why do you have so many dogs?" from people who will never have the joy in their lives of knowing they are loved unconditionally by something as close to an angel as they will ever get. How empty my life would be.
