About Me

I started out spinning drum and bass sometime between '98 and '99. I was a bedroom dj for a few years, throwing house parties for my friends and I in New Iberia. This point in time defined my life. I realized very quickly that this wasn't going to be a fad, it would become a lifestyle, and it has. My first real gig came in Lafayette in '02, which was when I discovered how good it felt to play good music for an audience. Since that time, I have continued to play out wherever I can, learning new things and becoming stronger along the way. I have played at clubs in Lafayette, New Orleans, Monroe, Baton Rouge, Pensacola, Mobile and Dallas. I've picked up four residencies along the way, with my most current being at Renaissance in Lafayette. My EC buddies and I created two very successful weeklies at this venue. There was HouseBroken, a house and breaks weekly, which still continues a year later. We also formed TransMission which was an all Drum and Bass weekly that featured a live broadcast on PlanetDnB.com. I'm still with EC, but I recently got more involved with Sinthenesia as well. The scene has changed drastically since I started spinning, but I still stay the same. I don't play cds and I don't knock those who do. Decent vinyl is getting harder to find, but it's my preference and it's the only way I know how to do things. I'm not doing this as a career option or anything. Being a dj doesn't pay the bills. I do this because it's my passion and for no other reason.
