Mother of three wonderful children, ages 24, 26 and 31. They are the love of my life.
We together operate a Small Owned Black Business, Named Frankie's BBQ. Our establishment is the off-spring of the original family owned business that has been in existance since 1968, and is still running strong, I began working there when I was 12 years old.
The sacrifices, pain, and effort are what's it's all about to leave a legacy for yours, theirs, and so on down the line.
One day I'll write this story. It's a powerful story of family, love, pain and sacrifice-

What is WAGFEST about?
The brain child of author Kerry E. Wagner, WagFest Litertainment, is a literary conference and bazaar that, although not exclusive, caters to independent authors, poets, musicians, comedians, and artist. It started in 2007 in New Jersey where a close knit group of authors got together in the spirit to sell books and have a good time. Since then, a second WagFest in March 2008 - this time in Seattle - proved to be a huge success with standing room only and a larger group of artists that traveled cross country to participate in this event. The saying at WagFest is "come as strangers but leave as family" and that has proven true time and time again.
Most artists know that building a successful career out of their art takes time, dedication, and support. Support is something that our familes are sometimes not willing to give readily. In linking up with WagFest, you have a community that will back you and as we grow so do YOU!

Old Skool is a favorite, Maze and Frankie Beverly, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, The song "Wild Flower" by New Birth ... I think that was specially made for me!. Pattie Labelle is my favorite female singer, her and Luther forever! I'm a lover of the music of the seventies. Slow meaningful music is a big plus. I love Jaheim and Joe also. There are several that can sing a love song that will melt my heart. And Gospel, It's my inspiration

Jesus Christ first and foremost. I have to say I truly admire my children, they have gone out their way to reverse roles, and take care of me, and take positions in our business to further it's success. My grandchildren are little role models in the works..grannies babies. I'm a family person, each and every member has a significant meaning to my life, and the air I breath. I lost my mom in 1989 (If love alone could have saved her, she would be here today)..My father, I can't even begin to describe him Let's just say "I'm a daddy's girl"!
