About Me

Deceptively sweet with naughty undercurrents, wild child, cancerian party princess, overachiever, possibly poly, fiercely loyal, logical optimist who still thinks the best description ever given to me comes from an old fling who said I was an enigma wrapped in a paradox. In spite of all obvious appearances and facades, I’m secretly incredibly shy which becomes painfully obvious once you really get to know me.

My Interests

Burning Man, saving the world, laughing, finding the loop holes, dancing, crying, watching the clouds (why I love the Pacific NW), finding that beat that goes down into my soul, making trouble, believing in humanity and so much more…

I'd like to meet:

Intellectual, extravagant, & stunning people- inside & out. Especially on the inside. Note: must be interesting. I'll let you try & define that.... If you have something to say, maybe I want to hear it- so speak up. I'm hoping to meet people secure in their own skin, yet with a basic sense of couth. If you don't know what couth is without googling it, please don't write me.

I do not blindly add friend requests. If I do not know you, have never met you, or even chatted with you, then it is not likely I will add you. Bands have an even harder time getting accepted, especially without dropping me a line. DJs sometiems make it through, but are more likely to be added to my favorites if I like the music then they are to my friends list, just so I can easily find them later if I want to add something to my page.

Music:

House Music!!! Especially deep, dark sexy house- the kind the either gets you on your feet or on your back... - booty house (so I can shake what my momma gave me), latin house, deep, sexy Chicago house, and acid house (beeps and boops make the world a better place). Anything that makes my hips shake makes me happy. I also have a penchant for moody music- music that brings you back into a memory... if you don't get what I'm saying than you're missing out. I've been spoiled 'cause house music is all I hear at my house- but I love all music as long as it's spun good and has heart behind it. I've also have a thing for I guess what might be called modern folk music (although I'm not sure how accurate a category that is). Damien Rice gets me through my homework a lot when I'm not listening to electronica. Random eclectic interests include Madeleine Peyroux, Massive Attack, Tricky, Thievery Corporation, Lords of Acid, Nine Inch Nails, Orchestra Baobab, Depeche Mode, Sneaker Pimps, Si*Se, Portishead, The Buena Vista Social Club, Supreme Beings of Leisure, Telepopmusik, Brazilian Girls, Etta James, Zero 7, Peaches (can someone say strip club music?), Audio Bullys, Frou Frou, Portishead, Lords of Acid, Sade- I *heart* strong vocals, dubby weirdness, trip hop, and a bass line I can't say no to. Make me dance- I dare you. Give me a beat that I can't say no to, that rocks me to my core- move me on the dance floors stretching from my living room to the playa to the clubs to the random little warehouse with a dj just killing it...
