Bette Davis

I'm the nicest Goddam dame who ever lived!

About Me

If you don't know who I am, then where have you been for the last 70 years?

My Interests

My career is everything to me, I guess. I also have a daughter, B.D and two adopted children-Michael and Margot.

I'd like to meet:

That bitch Joan Crawford, so I could smack her in the mouth.

Music:

The Liebestraum that Claude Stroud played for me in 'All About Eve'. Also 'I've Written A Letter To Daddy', the song that Frank DeVol wrote for my character to sing in 'What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?'-the lyrics were written by my daughter, Barbara.

Movies:

I loved myself in 'Fog Over Frisco', 'Of Human Bondage', 'Jezebel', 'The Little Foxes', 'All About Eve' and 'What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?'

Television:

Stuff like 'Skyward', 'Family Reunion', 'A Piano For Mrs. Cimino' was ok. However, 'Hotel' or 'Brothel' as I call it, was not. I won an Emmy for 'Strangers: The Story of a Mother and Daughter'

Books:

My own 'This N That' was rather good. 'My Mother's Keeper' was all bullshit. 'Mommie Dearest', however, was a hoot!

Heroes:

The only person you can look up to in this life is yourself.
