Entertainment System

Kick ass video Game Rock!

About Me

Based in Downtown Baltimore, MD and formed in late 2004 over many a Super Smash Brothers Melee bender, Entertainment System wields mind melting guitars, relentless drums, skull scattering bass, and raging rhythms on stages all over the east coast. Their love of video games and music combined with a passion for intense live performances and jaw dropping metal/rock guarantees Entertainment System is an undeniably unique act.
Entertainment System performs selections from common to obscure games, from Megaman 2, and Tetris to Little Samson and Kid Icarus. They have shared the stage with acts like Pee-Lander Z, mc chris, the Monotonix, Powerglove, The Protomen, Year 200X, This Place is Haunted, Shawn Phase, and appeared at some of the country’s most distinguished video game and anime conventions, like Otakon, East Coast Gaming EXPO, Fusion Gaming Con, and Colossal Con. But we aren’t satisfied being just another band on a bill. Entertainment System holds yearly East Coast VGM blowout shows entitled 8-Bit (2006) and 16-Bit (2007) Genocide, with 32-Bit Genocide coming in summer of 2008.
We strive to offer up that feeling you get when you perfect your arch nemisis in Street Fighter or complete the final stage of Dr.Wily’s Castle combined with the chills you feel run down your spine when you hear a 3 part harmonized guitar run up into a searing, brain exploding guitar solo. Entertainment System is all that and more...
Plus they rock at video games.
