I'm Emmet. I'm a geek and an aspiring musician. I am a music student in Portland, OR and someday I hope to live as a composer, performer and a teacher. I live for music of all genres and varieties, and I hope to someday be able to apply my love for music into something tangible. I am always looking for new people to play music with, regardless of genre, so let me know if you want to jam together sometime. ^^
Aside from music, I am a computer geek and a hardcore gamer. I love art, in specific: drawing, printmaking, webdesign and 3d modeling (despite the obvious lack of skills). I'm an avid gamer. I play a ton of different games and my xfire/steam alias is "KatanaSwordfish". I like 'mature' cartoons and anime (family guy, futurama, venture bros., cowboy bebop, ghost in the shell, flcl, etc etc.). I'm a stereotypical geek in love with Japanese culture. I've been studying the Japanese language for three years and I absolutely love it.
I'd love to meet some new people to play music and games with. I'm also interested in joining a mod team or contributing to any type of project. I'm a self-taught novice SFX creator also. (So if you have a project or a mod team interested in finding a composer or an SFX designer, i'd be glad to contribute if I could.)
I finally forced my self to make a myspace in order to keep in touch with my best friend who moved away. Plus, its free bandwidth that I can legitimately abuse. Gwahahaha... =D
