In 1997, I was with a friend at a stoplight at 6th and Lamar, Quentin Tarantino and another guy was walking on the sidewalk on Lamar. I yelled at QT and they both walked up to the car to talk to me. QT, you're one cool guy! Unfortunately, at that time I had no idea who the guy was and all I did was talk to QT while the other guy looked like he was sad for being ignored. I realized a few weeks later while reading the Austin Chronicle who the other guy was - KEVIN SMITH! Boy, I felt really bad! Kevin, if you read this, please don't put that incident against me...I would LOVE to meet you when you're in Austin again. I love you and your movies - Clerks II rocks!Sandra Bullock - I saw her at Zilker Park for the Christmas Tree lighting when she first moved here. She was very nice to everyone who approached her and she showed a lot of class. Maybe one day I'll run into her around town.Flavor Flav - he was so cute on Flavor of Love and Flavor of Love 2. He looks like he's a lot of fun.Loretta Swit - I met her last year at a Gem and Jewelry show that came into town. What a super nice lady! She was very personable and even autographed my M*A*S*H t-shirt (had to pay for it since it was a licensed product, but it was worth every penny).Patrice Pike - again. I met her at the Post Office on 10/06/06 and she is one super-sweet person. (See posted pic.) She rocked on Rockstar:Supernova and Austin is extremely proud of her.Alton Brown - again. What a nice man! I'm a big fan of his show. He had a book signing at Book People in Jan 2005 and I waited 6 hours to get him to sign my books and postcards and to get my picture taken with him. See pic. That man was tireless and he never took a break the whole time I was there.William Hung - What a brave guy! He faced the humiliation of the American Idol judges but prevailed. :-)I was lucky enough to meet "The Keeper of Gems" on April 30, 2007. Oh Mistress of the Gem Sweater, I worship you! Here's her new video for all the enjoy...I recently had the pleasure of meeting Rocco DeLuca...what a nice guy! Very reserved and soft-spoken...until he gets on stage and starts rockin'!!!KATHY GRIFFIN! I can't WAIT to see her! Me and my friend Becky have THIRD ROW CENTER seats at her show on 07/20/07. We're SO excited and we hope we'll be lucky enough to meet her that night.
