About Me

I AM NOT THE REAL STUART "WOODY" WOOD, THIS IS A FAN SPACE ONLY.
Stuart received the Moray Firth Radio Music Award after performing at the Award ceremony with The MacDonald Brothers, he made a guest appearance to play Shang a Lang and was stunned when he was presented with the award after the performance .
He is delighted with the award and would like to thank all those involved at Moray Firth Radio.
Stuart entered the industry early on, spending his adolesent years as the guitarist for The Bay City Rollers, the world biggest pop band in the 1970's. After his success with The Rollers, Stuart moved to South Africa and formed a band called The Passengers, which became a chart topping success throughout the 1980's. After returning home from SA, Stuart has enjoyed becoming a celebrated and successful record producer in Scotland. His recent successes have included producing Virgin Records' "The Lone Piper" and "Scottish Moods" which was certified Platinum and Gold awards in sales.
Stuart's reaction: "I was absolutely amazed with the response at Moray Firth Radio and it was much the same when I recently did a show at Northsound Radio in Aberdeen. It just goes to show the continuing popularity of the Rollers and my new music."
The Music Kitchen launched onto the Scottish music scene early 2003 hitting the Scottish charts with "Scottish Chillout Album". The brains behind such a concept are Gordon Campbell and Stuart Wood. Their mission statement - to produce music with accessability coupled with an innovative charm. As the name suggests, The Music Kitchen create a recipe of music related projects aimed at the cross over market - It is a meeting place for the unsual, not so obvious ideas and concepts, each product delivering innovation.
ROLLERCOASTER - The remarkable life story of former Bay City Roller Stuart "Woody" Wood DVD.
