From Boston to Los Angeles RICK THIBODEAU is carving a place for himself
in the world of Rock, Pop, and Country music as a top electric bassist, singer
and songwriter. Rick attended Berklee College Of Music in Boston - where he
studied under the direction of renowned bassist John Neves, and Majored in the Performance Program.Rick's live performances playing bass and singing has brought his talents to a number of popular international music artists such as : Bo Donaldon & The Heywoods, Ian Mitchell's Bay City Rollers,The Original Idols, Rex Smith, Duncan Faure of The Bay City Rollers, Leif Garret, Andrew Gold, Trini Lopez, Spencer Davis, Al Wilson, Ron Dante of The Archies, Andy Kim, The Cowsills, Jeff Skunk Baxter, The Chiffons, Barbara Lewis, Maxine Brown, The 1910 Fruitgum Company, Maxine Nightingale, Frieda Payne, Merilee Rush, Len Barry, Pat Upton of The Spiral Staircase, Bobby Boris Pickett, Billy J. Kramer, Eddie Holman, Tony Burrows, Tony DiFranco, Allan O'Day, Israeli Pop Star - Shlomo Haviv, Fred Mandell, Barry Williams (aka Greg Brady), and The Ohio Express.In 1999 Rick was honored by The California Country Music Association (CCMA) as their "BASS PLAYER OF THE YEAR." Rick can be heard playing bass on Ron Dante's latest remix of "SUGAR SUGAR."A career move to Los Angeles raised the opportunity to compose music scores and feature songs for several motion pictures and TV shows. Today Rick's songwriting can be heard on many network and cable tv shows including: "The Sopranos," "ED," "Melrose Place," "Timecop," "All My Children," "The Young And The Restless," "One Life To Live," "Cape," "Relativity," "Maggie Winters," "The Division," "Level 9," Feature films and Movies of the week include: "Harlan County Wars," "Blind Side," "There Was A Little Boy," "Sweet Temptation," "Fall Into Darkness," "An American Tragedy," "A Time For Revenge," "Sunset Strip," "State Park," "The Necromancer," Featuring Rick on camera performing and singing. "Golden Buckle Dreams," another on camera performance. "Ninja Turf," "The Devil's Bed," "Summer Of Fear," and "When Secrets Kill." Many of these song placements are due to the excelent diligence and professionalism of "HEAVY HITTERS" Publishing Company out of New York headed up by Barbara Jordan.Rick continued extensive East and West Coast touring with popular Regional rock bands opening and sharing the bill with numerous National Headliners.
