It's at age 16, while attending a Steve Hill concert, that Joé gets blues fever for the first time. On that day, he began practicing guitar and hasn't put it down since. Eight years later, he starts playing slide guitar, while listening to the songs of Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, and of course, Steve Hill.
