I had heard that MYSPACE was a great place to network for photography contacts... what a load of crap! I have received no business links whatsoever!! I don't really mind tho... because so far, I have been re-connecting with many friends with whom i had lost touch...I AM LOOKIN FOR MODELS for my RIVA MUMA series... interested? I am showing some photos from this series in my slide show... I WANNA SHOOT WHITE PEOPLE! i love my people, but i really fear being stuck in a racially restricted genre or clientelle! gotta shoot more ROCK MUSIC IMAGES... The person I would love to photograph most in this world is Mick Jagger. Close second, Keith Richards, Then Charlie Watts, followed by Ron Wood etc… get the picture?
while enjoying my status as dancehall's most prolific portrait photographer of late, the irony is that anyone who knows me knows that reggae/dancehall isn’t my favorite music… not by a long shot… To me, the music of the gods is jazz! Miles, Coltrane, Steve Coleman, Ornette Coleman, Keith Jarrett, Dave Holland, Elvin Jones, Eric Dolphy, Kevin Eubanks, Jack Dejohnette, Eddie Gomez, John Abercrombie, Bill Freisel… don’t get me started… Jazz lifts my spirit like no other music, brings tears and moments of epiphany… If I were only born 20 years earlier, living in Harlem like I now do… what heaven… Honestly, shooting today’s jazz icons bores me… aside from the excitement of photographing Wynton Marsalis, I have found the photographing of Jazz artists to be extremely boring…My second musical love? Rock and Roll!!! Will never die! I’m old enough that my rock tastes are a bit classic: Stones, Led Zep, Floyd, David Bowie… if you have to ask then you don’t know… hate the fuckin beatles… Stone Temple Pilots, Mettalica, Pearl Jam, Skynard, Eagles, Bad Brains, Kravitz, Fishbone, Velvet Underground… that’s whatsup!
fave directors are Stanley Kubrik, Ridley Scott, Martin Scorcesse, QUENTIN TARANTINO, Spike Lee, Guy Richie... really impressed with Paul Haggis (crash, million dollar baby) lately... will enjoy any clint eastwood film... ALSO AN JAPANESE ANIME FANATIC!!! shut up, it's NOT cartoons...

JP Sartre,Albert Camus, Franz Kafka... and current euro giants like patrick suskind (perfume), gunther grass, vladimir nabakov, or milan kundera... in AMERICAN LIT i enjoyed the works of langston hughes, ralph ellison, and james baldwin... i am a big henry miller fan... also charles bukowski.... POP culture... Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Grisham, Dan Brown... SCI FI favorites include isaac asimov, harlan ellison, phillip dick, and william gibson...
