Gabor Bolla Quartet

The Gabor Bolla Quartet plays accessible, enjoyable mainstream jazz for a wide range of audiences. Their repertoire includes standards as well as their own scores.The band has played at top European jazz venues - including Porgy and Bess in Vienna, the Bimhuis in Amsterdam, the Bull's Head in London, the Jazzkeller in Frankfurt and the Music Village in Brussels - ever since the band was formed in 2003 by the then 15-year old phenomenal saxophone talent, Gabor Bolla.The members of the Bolla Quartet are four young musicians who are equally successful in their individual careers as well as a band. They gave numerous concerts, played at first class festivals and published an album in 2004 titled „The Way We Play”.The Bolla Quartet scooped both the Grand Prix and the Prix du Public at the 2005 Avignon Jazz Festival in France.Their next album has already been recorded and will be published later in 2007.
