Michiel Teijgeler (a.k.a. MT-Yidaki) started playing didgeridoo in
1993. Since then he developed a unique, personal sound wich is best
described as Ethno-Techno.
Michiel is known for his strong and groovin' style of playing.
Currently he's playing with 3ple-D, Gaya Sol and RAMM.

With 3ple-D he released the Albums 'High from the Lowlands' (currently sold out) and 'Zumo'. Both albums were received with great enthousiasme by the international didgeridoo-scéne.
Over the years he has played on a lot of different stages like: Dance
Valley 2000, Roots Riddim Festival 2001, Festival Mondial and in some
of Hollands most popular discothèques, The Escape and Trance Buddha.
Playing with 3ple-D he played and teached at festivals in Holland, Spain,
France, Poland, Germany, Belgium, the UK, Portugal and Switzerland.
He appeared on (inter-) national television and local radio several times and you can see him in the Dutch motion picture "Drop out's".
Michiel donated material for the debut cd of the Amsterdam punk-band
"Mister Potato head" and several other small cd productions. In 2007 he made recordings with The WOW Factor and Wood. .
As a special guest he joined in on shows by the Ghanese High-life band,
Yama Yama (with master-percussionist Yusuf Nuweku), Jungle Warriors
(with tabla-master Sandip Bhattacharya from Benares and djembè-master
Mousse Pathe M'baye from Senegal), The Livin' Blues, Yellow Pearl ,
Hollands most popular reggaeband Luie Hond, OZ live dance act Loonaloop and The WOW Factor.
Michiel also played with percussion virtuoso such as: Sega Sidibé (Mali), Mansa Camio (Guinee), Kokouvi Lawson (Togo) Martin Verdonk, Dra Diarra, Martin Gort, Ponda O'Bryan and Jelle de Kroon.
Since 1999 he hosts a world-jam-session in Cafe de Flierefluiter in Apeldoorn.
As a teacher Michiel is working at Percussionschool Mi Dushi and giving workshops throughout Europe.
