Since the traditional use of the didgeridoo, like most forms of percussion,
is mainly to accompany dancing, Michiel wanted to form a band, to make
people dance on his original percussive didgeridoo grooves, for a long
time. So Michiel called in his old time friends and percussionists Kokouvi
Lawson and Terence Samson.
After a long search for a drummer they got in contact with Michel Scholten,
a very skilled drummer with an interrest in dance music. The combination
with his steaming drum patterns and the tribal grooves of Michiel , Terence
and Kokouvi evolved into highly danceable music. After a few sessions
together RAMM was formed and ready
to rock!
