About Me

Hamish Gordon, born in Sydney, raised in India, Thailand, Japan, England, America and Australia. Multimedia artist working with sound, canvas and prose. Began playing music, writing stories and painting at a very early age. Played in bands for several years but am primarily a studio creative. I sing and play all the instruments you hear, except for the drums. Check blog for examples of literature - check slideshow for examples of painting. My work is about transformation. Favourite animal: the chameleon. The single most intense and transformative moment of my life: getting bitten by a funnel-web spider and being dead for three minutes, stark naked under a full moon. One thing I despise is the massive corporate media machine, which is driven by profit through any means, including manipulation-by-fear. All that bullshit that they spoon feed us about what we should want and what we should need and what we should believe is nothing but white noise. Me hope dey whole stick get broke.
