Welcome! I am a multiinstrumentalist/singer/songwriter from Jönne, Sweden. I write songs in all different kinds of genres, from rock/pop to experimental art music. Everything is recorded in my studio under the influence of coffee and sometimes alcohol. (Nothing else)
I play bass in a rockband called The Lips , which is well worth checking out!
Since this section said 'Band Bio', I wrote a short one, which follows:
I was born 1984. Then, some time passed and I turned 9. I wanted to start playing the saxophone, but instead I got to play the clarinet.
It sucked. Totally.
So, I managed to convince my parents to buy me an electric guitar, 'cause I had a feeling that was the shit... of course, I was right.
I took lessons and slowly learned to play. I was really good at metallica riffs, and later on I tried to be the new Yngwie.
I realized pretty quickly though, that there were zillions of new Yngwies, and most of them outdrew me. So I gave up the guitar for a while and learned to sing and play the piano. I tried to play the drums as well, but I sucked.
Then one day, Moose called me and asked if I wanted to be in his band as a guitarist. I said yes, but that I'd rather play the bass... The band rehearsed alot, and had a good thing going except that we never ever gigged. Not even once.
Then came Danny K and started drafting members for The Lips. And I was soooo good that I got to be in. Yihooo...
I got a job, and spent all my money on intruments and studio equipment. I set up a goal, that someday I would be able to write a song, arrange it, and record it all by myself in my studio. Yesterday I realized that the goal was completed ^^
