I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Muslim, even when I don't think I deserve Allah's mercy. Married to one of the most loving and generous men on earth (and he did not pay me to type that) go to ummah1421.com (he did, however, encourage THAT shameless plug), Mom to whom I think might become a revolutionary or an extraordinary artist, my little rebel in training (she and Jimi Hendrix share a B-day). A work in progress. A grant writer who aspires to author a series of Muslim children's books. Soon-to-be Hajji (the goal is next go-round). A nerd trapped in a bigger nerd's body.

My Interests

Art, Islamic culture, African culture, Acid Jazz, Trip Hop, Activism (did I get all the boho/hipster cliches out of the way?).What I am NOT interested in: Porn (no more smutty inboxes or adds, please). Adding people with NO similar interests whatsoever. Dating (I'm married!! Dude, get a clue!!) People who do not make istingent (if you have to ask what it means, you are not the one)

I'd like to meet:

Me at 4 years old (I think I gave birth to her!!!), the Prophet Muhammad SAWS, Imam Jamil Al-Amin (one day, inshallah), Toni Morrison, a living Jimi Hendrix.View All Friends | View Blog | View Pics | Add Comment
