Linda Shaker

DJ à roulettes

About Me

Hailing from Lyons (France), Linda Shaker started DJing while living in Canada. Encouraged by Montreal’s electronic vibe and artists such as Akufen, Les Jardiniers, Champion or Tiga, she put aside her carrier in classical music and started spinning in Montreal’s clubs. Back in France in 2004, she became famous thanks to her energetic and eclectic DJ sets. After getting success in discos, bars and parties, she made up her name by being resident DJ and artistic director at Guybo club (Lyons). Crossing the boarders, this 5 feet tall young DJ enjoys surprises. She will make you shake your body with her personal sound and incredible vinyls from all around the world : Australian acid rock’n roll, groovy hip hop from New Zealand, minimal techno from Montreal, German electro clash and of course, a bit of a French Touch. Enjoying collaborations, Linda Shaker developped an arty network and instigated several original projects in multimedia, video, short films, Vjing, circus and theater. Working as International Promoter for Transe Express Circus – big scale street theater company – Linda Shaker travels all around the world and developps Street parade and DJ tour projects for 2007.Listen to Colossal Flick and you’ll find it just the perfect music for apero time or for later in the night…
