Organically grown in North Devon... Now a professional Trumpet player living and working in London. Studied at Trinity College of Music for 4 years with Robert Farley and Roger Argente, then for a further 2 after winning an Archer Jazz Scholarship, playing with the Trinity Big Band and studying with amongst others, Bobby Lamb, Mike Lovatt, Gerard Presencer, Tony Fisher, Paul Eschelby and Tom Rhys Roberts with a trip to New York to study with Laurie Frink.Recently formed a Horn Section with Mike Lesirge and Alan Hardiman, which is fast becoming one of the most creative and in demand on the London scene. Currently writing/recording/gigging for Soul/Funk/Pop artist Zarif (RCA records), Funk/Electronica/Hip Hop outfit Umlaut & Stitch, Hip Hop artist and producer Tha 4orce (MindThaGap Records), Vula from Basement Jaxx, and the awesome covers band Family Funk (Resident band at Guannabara, Covent Garden)! TV work has been with Will Young on Parkinson, and recording projects for Channel 4 TV. Regularly playing on the touring show of the Magic of Motown, with UK soul legend Jimmy James, and residency at the Play Rooms, piccadily circus with hot swing outfit The Leviathan Orchestra! Other freelance work is with Big Bands such as The Combustible Alarms Big Band, Glen Millar Memorial Orchestra, Superjazz, NYJO, Scherwing!, and The Squadronairs. Orchestral work has been with: Philharmonia of the Nations, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, St. Endellion Festival Orchestra, Dartington Festival Orchestra and Choral Society's around the Home County's.Have played all over London, The UK, Europe and hopefully in the future....
